Ilia Malinin-Beauty and Grace

Recently the Atlantic Magazine had an article titled The Man who Broke Physics about Ilia Malinin, the favorite to win skating gold at the upcoming winter Olympics in Milan. He is the only skater in history to successfully land a fully rotated quadruple Axel in international competition, granting him the nickname the Quad God. After watching this video of his skating I was curious to know more about his chart. 

He has something in his chart that is often found with elite athletes, which is Mars square Neptune. In his case, it is Mars conjunct Venus in Scorpio square Neptune in Aquarius.  Mars is strong in Scorpio. You  would have to be strong to undertake the type of program he does. Neptune adds the grace and beauty to the athleticism. His choice of music is also very Neptunian. It is otherworldly. 

Of course it helps that he is a Sagittarius, which is a fire sign known for athleticism. Ilia has Mercury conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius quincunx Saturn in Cancer. That is determination. He took the nickname ilia_quad0g-malinin as an instagram handle at age 16, and then put in the work to earn the name. The quad is a jump with four revolutions in the air.
